Columbia gets three mentions in an industry-leading publication.

***When you try stuff, people take notice.***

Our goal in trying stuff is to create innovative solutions to problems, and to keep you outside doing the things you love longer. We take great pleasure in making products that you can rely on to keep you warm, dry, cool, and protected in the elements. That being said, when a trusted industry-leading publication like Outside(r) Magazine has nice things to say about our products, well, that feels pretty good too. Outside recently gave props to three of our products. Here's a little taste of what they had to say:

										Peakfreak(tm) OutDry
We consider the ultra-lightweight Peakfreak a great shoe for taking on the trails with speed, agility, and support. Technologies like Omni-Grip(r), Techlite(r), and OutDry arm it to take on whatever you throw its way. So, it came as no surprise to us when, in the May 2012 issue, Outside gave it the designation of "best for trails." They also said the shoe has "...enough guts to protect feet on mixed terrain (snow, ice, dirt, gravel) during wet, all-day hiking..." Seems right on for a company with guts to out-try the competition.

										Reactor(tm) 15 Mummy
"Best for: getting warm quickly" and, "...the dots do bring the interior up to body temperature much more quickly." That's what Outside had to say about the Reactor 15 Mummy in the summer 2012 buyer's guide. We lined this sleeping Omni-Heat(r) Thermal Reflective technology to help regulate your temperature by reflecting and retaining the warmth your body generates. It's just one more way we're warming up the industry by constantly trying stuff.

										Flyin' Dry(tm)
In the summer 2012 buyer's guide, Outside also gave a shout out to the Flyin' Dry Shell. Specifically, they wrote that the Flyin' Dry is "...an ideal shell for windy bike rides", that it is their "...choice for shoulder-season running", and that they "...liked spring skiing in it, too." We chalk that up to the versatility of the shell, and its technology twosome of Omni-Dry(r) and Omni-Wick(r) EVAP. It's a jacket that's sure to keep you out there trying the things you love.

So, that's the word from inside Columbia, and from Outside. Now, we want to hear what you think. Check out these, and our other products, and then write a review. While recognition like this motivates us to keep trying new things, we'd take one good story or mention from you over a million trade articles any day, because you're the real reason we do what we do.
