										MEET GAYLE

										Hello,
I'm a big believer in personal style—part of mine is inspired by my tomboy
childhood. I grew up with three brothers, so I've always (literally) borrowed
from the boys. Here are a few ways you can pull it off:

										Gayle Spannaus
										FASHION DIRECTOR

										HOW TO BORROW
										FROM THE BOYS

										1. WORKDAY & WEEKEND

										"A strong feminine foundation,
like a pencil skirt and a pair of
										killer heels, begs for some
										menswear touches—a denim
utility shirt or even a tie. It's a
sensible mix of sharp and sexy,
										especially when you top
										everything off with a sleek
										ponytail and an orangey lip."

										OR

										"Pulling off an understated,
slouchy look like this is also all
										about contrast. A loosely
										buttoned shirt (with the sleeves
										rolled up, of course) juxtaposes
										with the pressed, tailored
										trousers. Just-so tousled hair
under a cap gives off some
										refined sportiness—and
										everything's really anchored by
the crisp combo of black and
										khaki."

THESE ARE TWO OF OUR LOOKS
WE LOVE. SEE THEM ALL >

										2. BROTHERLY LOVE

"I have three older brothers, so I was a true tomboy for most
of my childhood. I parroted their style and swear I owned
every type of overalls ever made. To this day, I'm still
obsessed with anything washed, faded or worn."

										3. ADD A MEN'S WATCH

										"It's a great balance to
sparkly jewelry, and I love that
										these Timex watchbands add a
										pop of color too."
