										_____________________________________________________________

										Hi there,
I've pulled a few more style questions from my inbox to answer for you.
The highlights? Special-occasion dressing (it doesn't look as boring as it
sounds) and why short-sleeve dress shirts are cool. Got a question of
your own? Shoot me an email: jack@jcrew.com.

										Q. I'M ATTENDING SOME
										WEDDINGS THIS SPRING AND
										SUMMER AND I NEED A DRESS-UP
										STANDBY. ANY THOUGHTS?

										A. An easy update is to swap out your
standard black suit for a really rich navy one
in a textured and light fabric like linen, which
will also keep you cool during those long
ceremonies. Our linen comes from Baird
McNutt, which is a really nice mill in Ireland,
so it'll last you forever. Add a few nice
accessories (like a printed silk tie with a
simple pocket square) and you're good to go.

										Q. TELL ME THE TRUTH—
										ARE SHORT-SLEEVE SHIRTS
										REALLY COOL AGAIN?

										A. Start thinking of the short-sleeve
shirt as more Jason Schwartzman and
less NASA. So yes, they're cool again.
The key, though, is in the fit—we're
bringing ours back in a slimmer cut
with a shorter sleeve. Wear them with a
bit of irony too. They'll lose that nerdy
feel when you pair them with a broken-in
jean and don't take yourself too seriously.
